Nippon Keidanren (Japan Business Federation) established the Keidanren Great Eastern Japan Earthquake Taskforce (headed by Chairman Hiromasa Yonekura, with Yoshio Nakamura, vice chairman and director general, as its deputy head) to carry out effectively support, recovery and restoration activities for the Tohoku and its surrounding areas afflicted by the earthquake and tsunami on March 11, responding well to the needs of the areas and people affected by the disaster, with the cooperation from member companies and industry organizations.
