Keidanren has introduced a transportation mechanism of relief materials supply, "Relief Supplies Hot-Line". It is working to save people in difficulties caused by the March 11 earthquake and tsunami. The distribution system is designed to send relief to the victims efficiently and effectively responding to direct requests from governors and officials of local government of the devastated areas.

The second round of the relief mission completed as planned. Relief supplies donated by 23 private companies were transported by ANA commercial airline flights from Haneda to Akita during the period between March 23 and March 31, and immediately delivered from the north airport to the disaster areas. The close cooperation between All Nippon Airways (ANA) and Akita Prefecture and their quick action made the operation take shape.
