Keidanren has adopted a policy proposal calling for an early legislation of the basic law for recovery and restoration of the disaster-stricken areas.
The basic law should include:
- The establishment of an Earthquake Disaster Restoration Headquarter;
- The drawing up of an basic plan for the restoration by the Headquarter, and
- The establishment of an Earthquake Disaster Restoration Agency.
