The examples of our supporting activities are as follows:
Suntory backs up the activities that the Yamashina Institute for Ornithology is conducting at Torishima Island to save the albatrosses there of an endangered species. Through the "Save the Albatross Campaign" Sunotry has raised a sum of 6.2 million yen as of March, 2004.
The Suntory Fund for Birds Conservation was founded in 1990 to make the "Save the Birds! Campaign" more substantial. Utilizing this fund Suntory has subsidized the activities to contribute to preserve wild birds which lead to the promotion of conservation of global environment. A total amount of 192.8 million yen (as of its 16th presentation in 2005) of subsidy has already been presented to 75 different activities of various associations since 1990.
In cooperation with the Forest Instructors' Association and the Nature Game Association of local communities, "Suntory School of Forest and Water" provides children with learning through vivid experiences in their Forest of Natural Water.
Suntory has established Tennouzan/Nishiyama Forestry Association to perform forestry activities in the area jointly with the local participants of voluntary activists, civic groups and the municipalities concerned.

"Eco-Kids Note" consists of 3 booklets and over 100 thousand copies have already been distributed to the primary schools of nationwide for free.
We place "Environmental Corner" at every production site of our own. We introduce the visitors our environmental activities and remind them of significance to preserve global environment handing out leaflet to promote Green Purchase in their daily life.
