Measures to cope with global warming

Target
Total emissions of CO₂, or amounts of energy consumption, will be dealtwith as follows:

A planned reduction of 10% of the level in 1990 by the year 2010.

Measures

Adopt new-type cooling equipment, gas heat pump and new-type boiler.

Waste Disposal Measures

Target

Volume of final waste disposal in 2010 will be reduced by more than 40% from 1990.

Plastic and others will be reduced 10-50%.

Reduce ordinary and industrial waste by 75% in terms of unit per output.

Environmental Management

Will prepare an environmental management system that responds to the ISO14000 series.
